Sketching mindfully

has been proven to be a great way of supporting your wellbeing. It teaches you to look, helping you to see so much more and enhancing your enjoyment of the visual world.

In this FREE Spring series of 6 sketching workshops led by artists Peter and Jenni, who also have bipolar, we will meet at the Royal Botanical Gardens of Edinburgh each Friday from 2pm-4pm, starting on Friday 12th April.

The Botanics in the Spring is an amazing place to sketch. We will have our own private room upstairs at the Botanic Cottage where we can meet, leave our personal items in safety and then go out sketching. When we return, then time is available where we can share our work and chat together over tea and cake.

These sessions will be relaxed and supportive, with the focus on enjoying the process of looking and drawing.

If you’d like to sign up please complete the form and we will get back with you to confirm.

“It has been a wonderful experience- the sketching and watercolour ‘washes’ as well as the chance to speak to fellows about our lives with bipolar” - previous participant.
